How will the new songs be played LIVE??

I was tanking along in my car today with Teo and Tea on full blast. When my favorite of the new tracks came on (Vintage) I started to think "how will the Conductor impress us with the presentation of these songs at his first 'City in Mega Concert'" Picture this:

The lights have gone down at the end of a spectacular show (like never before), then a small laser beams from the stage and opens up to the Harpe Laser. The buildings light up deep red with the Teo and Tea logo's in flashing Neon. On walks JMJ with the Circular LAG around his neck. The crowd go wild. Jarre strikes the Lasers to the tune of Vintage. As the beat starts the Building flash rapidly all the colours of the rainbow (WARNING FLASHING LIGHTS), a multitutde of sky trakers and bigfingers dance on the Parisien cloud base. Jarre steps back from the Harp to play the main chorus on the LAG. Then goes back to the Harp. The firworks get more intense and the projections more rapid. Reflective confettii comes showering down from the buildings as Jarre finishes off the Song on the LAG Now at the front of the stage (PLD style) The harpe in the background in doing its own flickering display and the song comes to an end like RV4 in Houstonand Calypso in PLD.
Carlsberg don't do concerts, but if they did........

Well, On JMJ's showcase, Vintage had weird animations of a Barbie and dolls dancing!

All that, AND no miming. It could only be specacular if Jarre doesn'tlay: the whole thing. And, by way of proving that there's no miming on his part, he should bust into a solo either on the harpe or on the LAG.

Also, if he's going to do a Mega show, he'd better have a band put together, including a really good drummer, bassist, and Francis Rimbert.

(I haven't heard this track Vintage, but I'm sure it could do with a live solo)

The greatest thing would be if the sounds were different, like they were for EiC/Hong Kong. Most of the other live performances focussed a whole lot on the albumic sounds, and they didn't really sound unique live...

Jarre, it's gonna be filmed in HD. Miming in HD looks worse than SD, because you can at least say the sound was out-of-sync in the Standard Definition. Make this a good one, Jarre, one to remember and worth seeing again and again!

Don't turn this into a miming thread, I just want to talk about how he should present his new work to the world. Teo and Tea LIVE will have to have the jumping building on, think PLD2 would fit the bill !!!!!!!!

Sorry, I didn't want to start the miming debate... I just feel that ever since Aero in Aalborg, where Jarre used only regular keyboards, and just him and Rimbert onstage, that his live performances have looked rather fake and shallow. Bring back the circular keyboard! Somehow, that looked less fake. Bring back the band! Interaction onstage gives the music a deeper feel.

I really would like to see some improv from Jarre, though. Something that feels as spontaneous as Digisequencer does.

I think that EiC was the best shows for Jarre's stage routine. Would love his future shows to re visit that type of production but on a lager scale
