Yeah, I have some patches saved from my Electric Bass Triangle... will post the sysex' here shortly :P

Nah- the only patches I could share are my D50's, and those are already available on so many places, so I guess it's not worth the effort. Though, if anyone's looking for some particular Roland D50 patches, you can always contact me

If you have an AN1X then buy a Doepfer Drehbank!

I've made a preset that controls nearly all the sound parameters in bank one and all the sequencer pitch/gate/velocity/CC levels for each step in bank two.

Makes the synth 10X easier to get around. Forget the Nord's, JP8000's MS2000's ect.

I confess I find a preset that gets me halfway there and then tweak to get what I need, especially with the DX. for bass sounds I find it easier to start right back at the waveform on a old monosynth and build the sound from there layering with another sound if necessary. I find it amazing when building a track that I can changed the sounds later in the recording but I come back to the sound I started with. I guess you get used to hearing the sound as part of the whole.

    Cheers

Any host program like: Sonar, Cubase, Acide, or just download LUNA a free simple one.

PS: Copy the dll file(s) into your VSTi shared directory (mostly C:\Program Files\VstPlugins).

It„s not quite that easy, that live thingie doesn„t work in Cubase by some unknown reason, so I„ll have to use Ableton Live Lite.
Maybe it„s my own fault, but I have not found any way to get it up in Cubase LE.
But you can download a fully functionally Ableton Live 6 Demo, only save and render to disc is disabled, but if you have a sound card with support for recording of what you hear you can use the free Audacity to record that.
