Okay, my brother linked this to me while back, and I'd like to get your reactions to this as well. Pat Metheny created an orchestrion band, not just an individual instrument. it's a mechanical band that is even capable of reacting to his improvisation.

Now I was amazed by this, because how easy would it be to write a synthesizer patch that could play with you in key, versus building a machine that plays entire instruments that way? not only that, but there's an amazing audio/visual concept in that room, with the mallets swinging and the bass playing itself and so forth.

I think this is amazing fun.
