Air doesn't excite me anymore either unfortunately... when they first started out, their first 2 albums were good, and live performances even better... then they slid downhill to Humdrumland living in the house of Yawnsome...

if commercial European electro is your taste (apart from Jarre), Daft Punk, Royksopp and Schiller still tickle my fancy to this day... as does Orbital, Little Boots and Chemical Brothers from the UK
