    Fair play JMJ !

If you were not consulted, or are commited to releasing a quality product you've
done the right thing - but when ?

I see nothing to suggest they are going to remaster the footage and release a better version.

That's it. I've had it with Jarre. he ain't getting another penny out of me, unless it's something REALLY SPECTACULAR.

    I won't hold my breath...
    Cheers, Lee

Disappointed and pleased at the same time... I just wish that they would hand these over to some dedicated fan to work his or her magic and give us remastered versions of the VHS videos we can no longer play (well, I can't anyway - they have self-destructed over the years!).

    Angry

This sucks. La Defense Part 2.

JMJ doesn't want FD to release it because it will be putting money into FD's pocket. Simple. It's got nothing to with bad quality footage - it's just a bloody excuse. JMJ throws his toys out of the pram again.

It's just about money - nothing more, nothing less, despite what Aero Productions say.

If they cared about the release, they would damm well get off their fat arses are re-master it with bonus material etc etc, along with the other concerts...China 81, Lyon, Docklands, La Defense, CpLT etc.

The only DVD versions will we ever see are the pirate versions on eBay. I used to report them for copywrite infrigements. Now I don't bother.

I buy them for fear that one day my videos will finally die and I'll never be able to watch the concerts again. Does this give any return to JMJ? Nope.

And frankly I've given up caring.

/ Rant over - sorry for the language...
    Cheers, Lee

It IS up to bad quality!!
Not only they wouldn't get money about FD release (but this also a reason can be...who knows?) but why would AP let FD to release an almost invisible bad quality dvd??

Seems you have forgotten that Aero Productions doesn't have the rights for it, and it would cost a lot of money to buy them.

I know they don't. But why does that then stop FD from releasing it if he holds the rights?

JMJ: "Please don't release Houston DVD, it looks crap."
FD: "Oh - sorry you feel that way - I'll cancel it"

Jarre must have some say in it, otherwise it would not have got binned.
    Cheers, Lee

It kinda looks to me if dreyfus want to use jarre licence as an cashcow.
From now on I won't buy Dreyfus related stuff only Aero stuff, or stuff that jarre himself supports.

I said it from the start regaarding the quality and quite frankly I'm delighted. It would have been a **** VHS to DVD transfer. How can any of you say it has anything to do with money when this DVD would maybe sell a couple of thousand copies AT MOST. The days of JMJ being a money making entity for anyone are far gone. If i thought the money was going to JMJ I'd gladly pay for it, after all who deserves the reward more than the great man himself.

Now, release a remaster in surround sound with an updated making of, and then market it as the biggest concert ever..... that would sell FD, that would sell.

But everyone....don't hold your breath for DVD releases. Copyright law is complicated, and JMJ doesnt have the rights at the mo, so we are stuck with new releases which works for me,....
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe....
Concerts Attended: Oxygene World Tour, Wembley Arena 1997
Oxygene Tour, National Concert Hall, Dublin 2008
Oxygene Tour, Royal Albert Hall, London 2008
    In-Doors Tour, SECC, Glasgow 2009
ROLL ON OCTOBER 4TH!! O2 ARENA DUBLIN!!!
