I think Jarre should release some if not all of his unreleased material at some point. For the collector it would be the best chance to complete his/hers collection.

It was not until yesterday that I heard J'te Flashe J'te Love for the first time (apart from its run at Okinowa as - My Name Is Arther). I didn't even know this track had been made.
"A group of men and woman entered the laboratory one month ago to live in a smell free world. Body odour, sweaty arms pits and smelly feet are to create the energy to survive. A total mystery surrounds this experiment, and it's project code name: B.O and Smell'i "

it was released in December 2001, and news of it's release can be found in our December 2001 archive here: http://www.jarreuk.com/december2001.htm

It would be fantastic to hear alternative or out take tracks from Zoolook or Rendez-vous (if they existed) as i feel that these were his best works, and it would be nice to hear as some folk say that much of the 'supermarkets' experiment was used as a possible template for these albums. It would be nice to hear anything unreleased though, as if they were released as promo's or similar, the only way to hear them would be to buy from e-bay at a very hefty price

A couple of ideas for Jarre

Either a boxset of rarities OR a Jarre revisited, example:

A couple of years ago the 'Pet Shop Boys' re-released some of their classic albums such as 'Please' and 'Actually' which included a 2nd disc of other mixes, 12", demos and rarities. It would be nice if Jarre took this same approach with a 2 disc versions of Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields, Zoolook, Rendez-Vous, Revolutions, Chronologie, Oxygene 7-13.

Yes, it could be interesting, if he picks the tracks with care. Tracks like Okinawa, MF2 (Oxygene Tour Mix), Metamorphoses B-Sides, and a few other live-only tracks (hello Une Alarme Qui Swingue!) are interesting enough. Not to mention Music For Supermarkets, which definately deserves a fully promoted re-release on CD.

    It would be instructive!
Oh, tell me my friend, what is all knowledge worth?
What is life worth either human skin or dragon body you live in
if you miss something in your heart's place,
if you miss somebody from you?

Yes! Though to be honest I'd be happy with even the actual show - the slightly-less-than-an-hour of footage that got shown on TV late one night some time after the event (Mike mansfield filmed, I believe) was quite impressive, and I'd really like to see/hear more! But then it's high time that the existing video releases were re-cut for DVD. I've actually copied my VHS tapes to DVD now so I won't wear them out any more than I have already!

In terms of rarities for iTunes etc, it'd be nice to have a 'proper' release of Interior Music and maybe full versions of the shows (I'd definitely be very pleased to download an unedited version of the La Defense concert, Destination Docklands, etc, etc).
