I absolutely agree with your petition idea 'cause I think the London concert can be considered the most deserving to be re-edited in a restored full lenght DVD special edition. During the week of my exhibition in Brick Lane Gallery I explored many zones of London, and of course I reached the Docklands where I took some photos on site in order to document its radical change since the concert period. The biggest addition is surely the bridge that allows to observe a great panoramic view of the concert area.

    My best regards

great idea,BUT it will never happen,,as mike mansfield was giving excuses for the poor video release at the time it was originaly released??,,he said that the cameras were blown over by the wind.
as with moscow one of the best tracks of the gig was ethnicolor, now if that had survived the weather then it would of deffinately have been on the video,,AS IT WAS STUNNING.if the very poor original was released on dvd,I WOULD STILL BUY IT THOU(remember the terrible mags 2 edit,i still feel sea sick now)
    all the best DEANO

    Count me in.

I was 16 and went to DD as my first ever gig (not just my first JMJ concert). Now I have to go back to the Royal Victoria Dock every year for the London Boat show (its where the excel centre is now) - it still gives me goose bumps ... mind you that is probably just me subconsciously remembering how wet and cold I was at the time.

Still - I loved it. A truly magical evening. it was just a shame the stage didnít float up and down the dock as the original plan (I think) as all I got to see from my front of crowd slot was the buildings opposite, and the sound quality was crap - but you know what? I just donít care... it was brilliant

I would love to see it on DVD, my original videos of the gig and the associated news stories are fading fast.

I am all up for the original radio broadcast too. I still have a taped copy somewhere in my loft and the best bit by far was hearing Simon Bates saying "sometime the rain hits you in the face - and you realise... this isnít Houston" - and then the bass of Rendez-vouz 4 starts.

ooh - there are those goose bumps again. 8((
